Cruisin' was made for love...

In an attempt to get ahead, I'm trying to compile a playlist which I would like to title "California Dreamin." With the nifty technologies we have today, I can put together something on my iPod then use a radio frequency to play certain lists on my motorcoach when I'm on tour.

What songs remind you of California/Los Angeles? Please keep in mind, these should be appropriate for all age groups.

So far:

California Dreamin'
I'm No Superman
Mirror for the Sun
Free Fallin'
La Cienega Smiled
California
In God's Country

Ummm...that's all I got for now.

California - Phantom Planet
California - Rufus Wainwright
LA Freeway - Jerry Jeff Walker
Unfair - Pavement
Los Angeles - Frank Black
All of Jane's Addiction's "Ritual de lo Habitual," though that's not exactly all-ages-appropriate.
A while back I made a whole CD of California songs, but they were mostly about how much LA sucks, e.g. these Depressing Country Songs About Los Angeles:
William Faulkner in Hollywood - Tom Russell
Sunset Boulevard - Charlie Robison
Hollywood Hills - The Beat Farmers
All the Gold in California - The Gatlin Brothers
