I've been working on the railroad...
(The passenger rooms are nicer...but I hope you enjoy the view from my office)
So, it's been a really interesting fifteen days.
Some of what I have experienced:
* Flying over the Grand Canyon/Hoover Dam
* Eating a fabulous lunch at the Bellagio Hotel overlooking the fountains
* Having three people throw up in front of me in the span of three hours
* The worst smell I've ever smelled
* Passengers threating the crew
* Kicking passengers off of the train (and that was in the first hour!)
* Walking over 10K steps a day (go pedometer!)
* Horseback riding in Sundance
* Seeing the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Zion and Grand Teton National parks (twice)
* Having a passenger ask me, "Where is Old Faithful?" after we pulled up right in front of the geyser
* Floating down the Snake River
* Having a passenger ask me, "Where is the Grand Canyon?" (It's that big hole on your right...)
* First trips to Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
* Having seventy-plus year old men flirt with me.
* Avoiding the "noro" type virus that we got on board last week (we refer to it as "Floyd" or "being bit by the squirrel." Symptoms include: diarrhea and vomiting.
* Being asked to be a bridesmaid! Congrats Rae and Michael!!
* Baby bison!!! They look like big red dogs!! I (heart) them.
